Over time, brush tips wear out and their plaque removal efficiency decreases. However, thanks to the smart brush tip recognition function, you'll never forget to replace the brush tip. The toothbrush records the duration and intensity of use of each brush tip and alerts you when it's time to replace it. You can also view the life of your brush heads in the Philips Sonicare app, where you can also order new brush heads so you never run out.

Warns if you press too hard
You may not even notice that you are brushing too hard, but DiamondClean Smart notices it for you. If you clean with excessive force, the light ring at the end of the handle will start to flash. Brush tips automatically select the optimal settings
Not sure which mode and intensity to choose? Now there is no need to know. A chip embedded in the brush head informs your DiamondClean Smart about the brush head being used. Therefore, if you install, for example, a gum care brush head, your toothbrush will know how to choose the most suitable mode and intensity level to take care of your gums gently, yet effectively. All you have to do is press the power button.
Simple and visually appealing charging - at home and away
With one full charge of the toothbrush, it is possible to use it regularly for two full weeks. However, if the toothbrush runs out of power during travel, its sophisticated USB travel case can also be used as a charger. Place the toothbrush in the case and plug it into your laptop or wall outlet. To charge your toothbrush at home, simply place it in the charging cup, which fits in every bathroom and can also be used for rinsing the mouth.
