Suitable for different hair and skin types
Philips Lumea Prestige works effectively, easily and safely on different hair and skin types. The device works on naturally dark blonde, brown and black hair and skin tones from very light to dark brown. As with other treatments that use IPL, the Philips Lumea cannot be used on white/grey, light blonde or red hair and is not suitable for very dark skin. This is explained by the fact that a high contrast is required between the hair color pigment and the skin tone pigment.
Built-in skin tone sensor
The built-in skin tone sensor determines the condition of the treated skin at the beginning of each procedure and sometimes during the procedure. If it detects a skin tone that is too dark for this product, it will automatically stop pulsing.
