HT-A7000 has 7.1.2. channels, two vertical speakers for ceiling bounce, two omnidirectional tweeters and five front speakers for wider surround sound and a built-in dual woofer for deep bass. Using Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround technologies, the HT-A7000 creates virtual surround sound that you can hear from all sides, so you can fully enjoy the possibilities offered by Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X®.

Feel the sound coming from above

Thanks to Sony's virtual surround sound technology, the soundbar can vertically position the sound, so you can enjoy 3D audio without using ceiling-mounted speakers. Similar to Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technologies, Vertical Surround Engine technology brings more realistic, multidimensional sound to other formats as well.

Simply provided immersive sound

Using only the front speakers, Sony's unique digital sound field processing technology virtually reproduces the surround sound field, so you hear sound from both sides. You can enjoy rich, cinematic surround sound without cluttering up your living space.

Omnidirectional tweeters

The sound bounces off the side walls and expands the surround sound to deliver an immersive experience far beyond the size of the TV. Together with S-Force PRO Front Surround technology, it provides an even wider immersive sound.

Upward facing speakers

The sound bounces off the ceiling, creating an impressive sound that comes from above. Together with Vertical Surround Engine technology, it provides an even more realistic atmosphere with sound coming from above.

Speaker unit X-Balanced

The vertical speakers, the built-in low-frequency acoustic system and the front speakers are equipped with an X-Balanced speaker array. The unique rectangular shape of these speakers increases the diaphragm area for a stronger bass sound. It reduces the amplitude of the drive while maintaining sound pressure, resulting in less distortion and a clearer voice.

Real-time recovery of all compressed files

Using the Edge-AI (artificial intelligence) function, DSEE Extreme™ (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) improves the quality of compressed digital music files in real time. By dynamically recognizing the sound of instruments, musical genres and individual elements of each song, such as vocals and interludes, it restores the high-range sound lost during compression for a richer, fuller listening experience.

Even deeper sound with additional bass and rear speakers

For even deeper bass, add an optional wireless subwoofer. If you have two types of subwoofers, the built-in subwoofer in the HT-A7000 plays bass and vocals, and the optional wireless subwoofer plays bass. For even more realistic cinema-like sound, where the sound comes directly from behind you, add our optional SA-RS3S Wireless Rear Speakers.

No exact placement of the speakers is required. The HT-A7000 model provides everything you need with built-in microphones, intelligently determining the position of the vertical and horizontal planes of each speaker and optimizing the sound according to the room. The HT-A7000 allows you to optimize the sound field with or without additional speakers. Activate from presets or start menu.

Easy control with your BRAVIA TV

Thanks to the integrated user interface, home theater system settings automatically appear in the BRAVIA TV's Quick Settings menu, allowing you to easily adjust sound modes, sound field and volume.

An even more immersive listening experience with Acoustic Center Sync

When you connect the soundbar with the included cable to a BRAVIA TV equipped with Acoustic Center Sync technology, the soundbar and TV become the center speaker in your home theater system. As a result, the sound matches exactly what's happening on the screen for an immersive experience.

Quick setup

The HT-A7000 is practically ready to use right out of the box. Simply plug in, connect to your TV via the HDMI eARC connection and turn on. With USB, optical and analog audio inputs, as well as HDMI input and output (eARC) and S-CENTER OUT compatible BRAVIA models, you have all the connections you need for a stunning surround sound experience.

Voice control

Using the Google Home app, simply connect the HT-A7000 soundbar to your speaker group, and all you have to do is say a word to start playing music, adjust the volume, or use many other functions.
